Home TheaterSince the update, the soundbar is unresponsive and can't be reset.
Seems like quite a few people with the issue

Home Theater3 hours with 2 support people and end result is I need to drive 45 mins to take it to a technician. This is not a great support experience for a Samsung own goal issue. Worth noting ,y Samsung tv is also offline according to the smart things app, but is still working š

Home TheaterMine 990D also bricked. And still no news from Samsung itself. What a worthless community.
When the topic was new directly Samsung replied here. When its too difficult or will be too hot than no reply anymore...

Home TheaterExact same thing happened to mine Thursday morning in the UK! DEVASTATED. Got samsumg to come and collect it on Monday, but they didn't say anything about this update.
Just read an article on verge saying about this update and the glitch where it freezes on TV arc and no factory reset is working.
It's a speaker, it's meant to play audio. So I've spent 1500 on a huge brick that has now rendered my other speakers useless.
Assuming as mine is less than 6 months old I won't be charged anything for this. If anything i need to be compensated

Home Theater@VADAR did they pack it up themselves on collection or did you have to pack it up? I have mine scheduled for collection on Monday. Wonder how long the repair will take

Home TheaterSame thing has happened to me in UK, being collected for repair on Tuesday. We do not need to worry about charges, notwithstanding manufacturers warranty we are covered by The Consumer Rights Act 2015 which covers products for up to 6 years. EU has similar regulations.
I have read that the update 1020.7 is the cause by frying the board so Samsung are totally in the frame.
