I have an older soundbar that has worked great.  I have been using it with my laptop at work for speakers.  I had to disconnect it from my laptop and when I connected it back and turned it on it will not connect.  All it does is stay "ON" the display.  I've tried holding in the volume up/down and nothing.  I tried holding the power button in and nothing.  The remote will turn it on but will not turn it off.  I have to unplug it to turn it off.  Any ideas other than trash it and buy another one?

I see how this can be frustrating since no troubleshooting is helping service would be the only solution. Depending on your warranty you will have a few options.

- If your device was recently purchased, you can check with your retailer on their return/exchange processes.
- If you have an extended warranty you can reach out to them to have service processed.
- If you're within the one year warranty, you can Private message me or one of our moderators or you can call in directly at 1-800- 726-7864 with your full model and serial number to have service setup
- If you're OUT of warranty, for depot type products (Soundbars, Home Theater Systems, tablets, ect.) that require to be shipped we recommend you speak with our depot team for pricing and to have the service set up: 1-310-669-4334.

Hello! Thank you for reaching out! Can you attempt the factory reset on the soundbar? Please try the following:

Turn on the soundbar.
Press and hold the "Vol Up" and "Vol Down" buttons on the soundbar (not the remote) for about 5-10 seconds until you see "INIT" or "INIT OK" on the display.
The soundbar should power off and restart.
Reconnect it to your laptop and test.

I've tried that 20 times before I ever reached out on this forum.  Once the soundbar comes comes on it just displays "ON" and just sits there.  To turn it off I have to unplug it. The power button on the soundbar does nothing and the remote power button does nothing.

Have know idea what it could be.  About to throw it away and buy another.
