Hello,
I recently purchased another soundbar product from Samsung. It's a q990c that I cannot connect to Wi-Fi via the smartthings app so I'm still stuck on the 1002 update and I've read there's a 1003. It doesn't get recognized by my Sony a80j tv also. I have the q950a soundbar which never had issues with in this matter. Not sure what else to do for I already did the many suggestions that others had told me about. Maybe I should try to do them again? The smartthings app reads my router/modem 5g but just can't seem to connect Wi-Fi. Bluetooth is there that works fine. At a loss here.
