Kitchen and Family HubI am trying to figure out what the deal is with the Convection Roast Feature- The broiler does not come on in this mode which gives you that nice roasting element-.I am getting conflicting information from Samsung. I was told the broiler does not come on- it just heats up a bit on top and circulates the air. Tech came out and spoke with Samsung in Korea and they said the broiler/heat comes on but it is so slight you cannot see a flame??? I have other ovens that have a convection roast feature and the top element- broiler cycles on and browns the top- This oven does not seem to operate this way- and I am not getting the browning I am looking for in the Convection Roast Mode. Has anyone having this issue? Is this just the design of this model? It seems like their is no difference between convention bake or roast- the food cooks the same.

Kitchen and Family HubHello! Thank you for reaching out! Unfortunately this is not going to do the same thing as broil, it can brown the top, but it would take longer as the heat is getting circulated in the oven to cause this to happen. You can use the link below to get to the user manual for your range.
