I keep getting notifications from my fridge, constantly telling me the temperature. I only used to get notifications when the fridge was left open (which is what I want).

I've not changed any settings, however I have had to turn my power to the house off and I have also pdsted my phone. Could either of these be related? How do I fix this?

Thanks.

Samsung has updated the Family Hub app in SmartThings.

Press and hold on the notification.

Tap Turn off notifications (if available) or Settings

This works for any notification.

Thanks, but I'd still like to be notified if the fridge has been left open. Just not the notification where it tells me the temperature constantly.

I take it if I disable the notifications in the settings then all will be disabled.

Not having the refrigerator, I would think that you should be able to specify which notifications to turn off, much like on the phone.  You won't know til you try, unless it is listed somewhere in the manual.

That would make sense but I can't see different notifications for it so I'm guessing not. šŸ¤”

I've just finished testing this issue. It appears to be an ALL notifications from Family Hub, such as freezer and refrigerator temps, and the occasional 'door open' notification, which replaces the temp info, or none.

And, if you swipe the notification away, then you won't get a 'door open' notification on your phone.

You said you had to turn off power to your house.  The surge when turning it back on may have damaged a circuit.  Is it also possible that it's alerting you that the temperature has not reached the point you set it for?

Are you getting the notifications on your phone app?  You say you see no way to disable individual notification types; but, do you have notification categories turned on in your phone settings? This might open up those options in the app settings.  Without notification categories your have one option - all notifications off or all notifications on.
