Hello,

I am looking for some advice on which part may be faulty in my Samsung dishwasher. I am leaning towards control board but it could be the motor I suppose.

When you select a cycle, say I use the quick option with sanitize, that puts 1:33 on the timer. I close the door and the drain-pump pumps the water out of the bottom of the tub (I hear the water hitting the sink drain so I know the pump is good). Then, once the water is pumped out, I hear 11 clicks that sound like the inlet valve letting water back into the tub (I confirm there is fresh water when I open the door). But, once those 11 clicks are finished, the timer says 1:32 and the cycle never progresses any further. There was a 3C light flashing earlier, which refers to the pump having issues but I feel like it's the control board since the cycle never progresses by more than 1-minute.

Anyone have any thoughts on this that can help me out?

Thanks

No luck - it did work it's way down to 1:30 on the timer but that's about it.

Hi there! I can definitely understand your concern with your dishwasher not starting. It sounds like you've already checked all the troubleshooting steps we would recommend: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01000965/

Since your dishwasher is still not working properly, we would recommend service as the next step. There’s a couple options we can take based on your warranty status.
If you’re in the one-year manufacturer’s warranty, please gather together the full model and serial number of your unit, and have ready your name, street address, 2 phone numbers (Best contact, alternative number), email, and place of purchase. Provide this information to an agent, in one of the following options below:
1.) Reach out to a Moderator directly, by selecting our name and the message option. When messaging please use a link to this thread in addition to the info above.
2.) Reach out to us on Facebook or Twitter. Please provide the same info as above, as well as the link to your thread.
3.) You can also contact 1-800-726-7864, if you’d like to speak with a live agent about this situation.
4.) Last, if you wish to speak with a live agent and don’t want to call in, you can reach out to our Live Chat team.
If you’re out of the one-year manufacturer’s warranty:
1. You can utilize this link to locate an authorized service center in your area to obtain estimates for repairs: http://www.Samsung.com/us/support/service/location or reach out to any local repair shop.
2. The other option, would be a replacement of the unit. Samsung.com offers amazing deals on different models that may be to your liking, check out those deals here: https://www.samsung.com/us/dishwashers/
