Purchased a new Samsung electric range last year--just started using it in May. We cannot safely simmer anything because the burner settings change on their own. Specifically, when we set it to 2, within 15 minutes we'll find it has reset itself to 6. This only happens when one of the front two burners is set to 2, and it always resets to 6. This doesn't always happen, but when it does, it's always on either one of the two front burners.
