When I turn on the igniter on any stove burner, the lights on the led panel flicker and cut-out, then when the igniter is turned off and flame is lit, the lights return and clock is reset. It appears as though when power is directed to the igniter, it cuts power to the circuit board. Or perhaps the power supply can’t deliver enough power to satisfy both.

I’m looking for advice on whether this is likely to be a power supply issue, or a circuit board issue, or something else? I’d rather not call a serviceman if I can get clarity on the issue, because they are impossible to schedule, and I’m perfectly capable of buying the part and replacing it myself.

I know this issue isn’t unique to me, Someone else already posted this issue on this forum 3 years ago and then unfortunately accepted a canned answer with rediculous suggestions like “check the circuit breaker or switch” as “solved”, even though they don’t come close to addressing the problem.

Hello! Thank you for reaching out! Unfortunately, as most of the community members/moderators are not technicians we would be unable to assist in helping with what part would need to be replaced. I would recommend service using the following link:https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/locations/

If you wish to purchase parts though you can purchase parts here: samsungparts.com.
