Hello,

I have model DW80R2031 dishwasher and am having issues with the racks rusting. I noticed that others are having the same issue and want to know what I can do to have this item replaced by the warranty. I see the same warrant guidelines as another user stating that the rack is cover for 5 years and I have not reached my 5 years just yet.

I would appreciate a response.

Hello, yes, you can, but likely they won't replace them. What I would do is go to your closest appliances plus and ask for a rack for your type of dish washer. Or maybe trade them in for ones that work. Just ask before you do, please.

Unbelievable considering that the dishwasher is less than 3 years old šŸ˜”

I agree. If you can confirm that the racks are covered under a 5 year warranty, then I would think Samsung is obligated to replace them.
They surely don't make stuff like they used to. We have a 30 year old Frigidaire dishwasher, and the only thing we replaced was the door seal. These new machines are junk and rarely last to the 10-year mark.

Just wondering if that rust can pose a health risk over time, as rust particles breaking off during the wash cycle might stick to the dishes.
