Kitchen and Family HubFrost can accumulate, especially when ice is left to solidify in the tray, making it difficult, if not impossible, to remove the tray or extract ice.
Removing the ice tray will not affect the effectiveness or coolness of the refrigerator.
Please consult your frig's user manual for details.

Kitchen and Family Hubif, while you're gone your house loses electricity and it's off long enough, the ice will melt enough to fall out. if that happens, you know that your frozen meats will have also thawed and re-frozen, making them something you probably don't want to eat.
