2018 QN55Q6FNAFX-ZA TV & HW-Q600c Soundbar ARC issue

I just bought this soundbar and it is hooked up to hdmi arc on the soundbar and on the tv. In tv settings it I set to hdmi-cec. I have Apple TV and Samsung blue ray player and neither will turn on the soundbar. I have tried resetting both the TV and soundbar to factory default but no luck. I have tried new hdmi cables and that did not work. The only way I can get the soundbar to work is if I unplug it from the wall and plug it back in the soundbar will come on when turn on one of the devices but the next time I turn the power off and back on the soundbar will not power back on. I have the latest firmware for the soundbar. It seems the TV defaults back to the TV speakers and doesn’t save the soundbar. It’s driving me crazy. It work just fine when  I had my Bose SoundTouch 300. Thanks.

Well I found the problem. In the user manual it says this.

Soundbar does not turn on automatically with

the TV.

; When you turn off the Soundbar while

watching TV, power synchronization with

the TV is disabled. First turn off the TV.

The TV has to power off first to turn the soundbar back on the next time. We were power down everything with the Apple TV.
