I have a Samsung UN65KS8000 65 inch LED. There is an extra bright area on my screen and not sure if this is an easy fix or better off with a new TV. Maybe 7 years old?
It looks like screen damage to me and the screen would need to be replaced in my opinion

Screen light bleed. Press lightly on the light area and see if it changes. Did you drop your phone or press to hard on the screen ? Time for a new screen.
