I just bought an S95D. Gorgeous image, but I'm considering returning it because the connectivity between it and my Marantz is just terrible. How is this possible in 2024? My 12-year-old TV had easier and better connectivity.
The Samsung wants only eArc and doesn't like switching monitors via the Marantz. The Marantz offers an Auto (dual) for both monitor jacks, but the Samsung TV doesn't like having to switch away from the default eArc. I've been at this for three days now. The TV also doesn't like my old Oppo Blu player. It connects to both but then it doesn't play either and drops audio repeatedly. Then it just deletes my settings and saved connected devices.
