I must be missing something. I have been looking for the app search icon on my 50qn90qn. There are numerous apps available but I cannot locate the search icon. It used to be there. Any suggestions?

That's strange. When you click on the apps icon, look for the magnifier glass icon (top right). You should also have a search icon (magnifier glass) when pressing the home button on the remote(scroll left).

There is no magnifier glass on the top right of apps screen. If I use the one on the left side, it only searches for things regarding the tv. I'm wondering if I should update software again?

Try and unplug the tv from the outlet for at least 5 minutes, then plug the tv back in. This has been successful in fixing issues. The tv should update software automatically, but by all means, check and see if your tv has the latest update.

I followed your advice. Unplugged tv and still no magnifying glass. I also have the latest software update. Without the ability to search, I can not download apps. Any other suggestions?
