LED and OLED TVsAfter TV has been off for a long time, when I press the power button on Siri Remote, only the Apple TV will turn on but not the TV
IF TV has been off only a short while, both turn on just fine.
Only the Samsung Remote works for the above, but not the Apple TV Remote.
Both the TV and the ATV are set with CEC on. The ATV preference for turning on TV with the Siri Remote is set = on.

LED and OLED TVsFinally talked with a bluntly honest tech support rep who basically stated they will never change the computer code with the implied reason that they want to force the customer to use the Samsung tv remote to turn their TV on.
The whole problem is caused by the existing code’s turning Anynet+ | CEC off when the TV is turned off by another remote, eg, the Apple TV remote.
So, I *guess* Samsung doesn’t care about their customers want.
