This is my first post. I bought a new S90D and need some help. I have an old set of Altec computer speakers that I want to use with the TV. The TV has a headphone jack and yes I do get output when I set the port to "headphone". The issue is, I get static unless the TV volume is up to about 65 and I turn the speaker volume way down. Does anyone know if the headphone jack is the normal TRS pinout or could it be TRRS? Just wondering if that is the source of my static. No static on our old TV.
Thank you for your reply, the firmware is at the latest and with the sound set to headphone none of the expert settings or sound setting are available.
