G7 half the screen goes dimmer/darker

Hello, i've noticed when playing video games sometimes my monitor dims darker on the left side, and to fix it I would either have to restart my pc or restart my monitor. Ive noticed recently when I put my brightness on my monitor to pretty high it happens too. My monitor is updated to all the latest firmware, I checked to see if the wires are loose or anything. I plugged the monitor into my laptop via HDMI, it still shows dim on half the screen. So I know its nothing wrong with the PC.

For me it's the top left , I'm on PS5 console. Same I reboot and it fixes till next time. I'm on a new 55in google tv.

Looks like the backlight defuser is broken, if it’s still in warranty (certain countries have 5 years warranty on displays), get it replaced. I googled your device + backlight defuser broken and I am getting thousands of results, so it is a common issue with this display.
