How to change resolution my Samsung monitor

I had been loaned a Samsung monitor and it was fine but I want to know how to change my resolution on it it's a 1920x1080 monitor.

Hello! If you are on pc you can change your resolution by right-clicking the desktop and choosing Display settings, but please keep in mind that I will only be able to go to the model's max resolution depending on what it is.  If you are using a dedicated GPU you can right-click the desktop and choose your GPU control panel, and change the desktop resolution that way.

In the high performance games I play the resolution is set individualy in each game's display configuration.
