I purchased a Samsung Portable SSD T5 drive and it worked great on my windows 10 computer. I just bought a new computer which is windows 11 and it will not accept my password. Can anyone tell me how to correct this problem. I have files on the T5 that I need to get.

Thanks

I have the same SSD. Odd that the password didn't work on your Windows 11. I had no problem a couple of months ago. If it were me, I'd access the SSD with my phone, move whatever you need from the drive to your internal storage, then transfer those items from your phone to your PC with a usb cable.

Thanks. I do have one question for you. Since, I have an iPhone would this possible solution work. I don't know that much about the tech. things.

check in the App Store...there's a companion app that goes with that SSD called Samsung Portable SSD. if there's more than one app, select the app specifically for your drive.

If it was encrypted with the old laptop then that might be your issue right thwre

Thanks, but I don't believe that it was encrypted.
