Monitors and MemoryIf I were to replace my current 5400 RPM laptop SATA hard drive with a SATA solid state drive, would I still be able to factory restore the solid state drive or re-install the pre-installed OS and associated software back onto the new SATA SSD?

Monitors and MemoryTo make this work, you would need to 'clone' the drive's partition scheme to include the built-in restore partition. The other option would be to create an external backup from the restore menu on the laptop.

Monitors and MemoryI suppose cloning software might be the easiest option for me. I was hoping or thinking I could just get an image from Samsung to re-install everything but sounds like that's not an available option.
