Recently switched from an iPhone. The issue I am having with my Note 20 Ultra is that when the phone is locked, I will receive an icon showing the app which I just received a notification for but I can't actually see what the notification is until I unlock the phone.

For example, on my iPhone, if my phone was locked and sitting on the table, if I received a text message, the text message would show as presented from the photo above.

I've tried every setting on my Note 20 Ultra and am running out of ideas. Is this not a feature on all Samsung Galaxy phones? Not a huge fan of it and might switch out just because of this.

@FGalaxy10 Have you tried this:

  1. Open phone settings
  2. Click on Notifications
  3. Click on Lock screen notifications
  4. Ensure that this is on.
  5. Click Show content.
  6. Click the gear to the right of Show content. Here you can enable this for all apps or pick which apps you want content shown for.
