Black/dark shade right side of tv

Seems like this is a well known problem. Was watching TV turned it off for 4 hours came back to this dark shade on the side of the TV. Anything that Samsung can do to remedy this issue

Wow!  This is EXACTLY what happened to my Samsung TV!

I called for service, they told me the LED panels are no longer available and Samsung gave me credit to replace the TV.
