Hi....

I just bought a new Samsung CU8000 43" TV a couple of days ago.  I am learing about it and setting things up.  One thing that puzzles me is in that adding/deleting and moving apps icons from the home screen hub I noticed a Mystery Icon/Tile.  Its directly after the APPS icon.  When I click on it nothing happens.  I watch videos to help me setup and learn about my tv but I never noticed this mystery tile on any of the tv screens in the videos.  Its not there.  Anyone know what it is?  See the screen shot below.  Please forgive me but I am a newbie to Samsung TVs.  Any info appreciated.

--Thanks--

I think I found the cause.  From another forum:

It cannot be removed.  No big deal though.

It's just a fill in tile for decoration until you assign another app to your home screen.

Apparently something else is going on.  I filled the apps area with more apps that exceed the screen width to see if the mystery icon would go away.  It didn't.  I added about 8 apps and I had to scroll left/right to see them all and like I said that icon was still there.  I was reading in another samsung forum in uk or germany where a user has the same situation.  No fixes were mentioned.  Weird!
