Projectors & Other TVsHow do you turn off the auto-detect HDMI feature? Sometimes my Apple TV comes on and then the TV automatically turns on as well but I don't want the TV to do so. How do you turn off this feature?
Thanks,
Mark

As I always have my PC plugged in, ANYTIME I turn my PC on, the TV automattically switches the TV to the HDMI channel the PC is plugged into.
Girlfriend watching a film? Better not turn my PC on! Get up a bit later than my girlfriend, first thing I want to do is check my email on my PC? Better not do it if she's watching the TV!
It's laughable that Samsung is ignoring their customers. Fix this problem now, or I shall be returning my TV as having it switch channels each time it detects something is NOT fit for purpose!
And this is how much they care

Same song and dance I get.
Then they'll have to take my TV back, because this product is not fit for use. There are 2 other serious issues besides this one that they call a "feature". Yea, right. I now know they're a bunch of crooks, and I will never buy another Samsung product.

Projectors & Other TVsIt's apparent by now that Samsung has a different vision on how we should use our TV's.
I can honestly say this was the first and last TV I'll purchase with the Samsung name on it.

My last TV was a Samsung and it was brilliant. I wanted to upgrade to a 4k Smart TV and considered no other brand than Samsung. 2 months later I am resolved that unless Samsung start listening to these complaints and at least provide us with the option of disabling this wonderful feature, this will be my last ever Samsung product. They really don't understand Customer Services

Projectors & Other TVsProbably we should provide reviews on sites like Amazon to let potential buyers know about this annoying "feature".

I have written a fair review on Amazon UK. Let's see if they publish it

Projectors & Other TVsMaybe everyone can write a review about their specific model, post it here, and we can 'find it helpful'. 🙂
