How do you turn off the auto-detect HDMI feature? Sometimes my Apple TV comes on and then the TV automatically turns on as well but I don't want the TV to do so. How do you turn off this feature?

Thanks,

Mark

Once I turn the PS3 off, then the tv will turn to broadcast TV, which was never selected in the first place. Several time after this I have to switch both my receiver and TV back to the input I want, then the PS3 will turn on again, restarting the entire process. I had a Sony for 7 years that never had a problem like this with  my receiver. No matter what input source I gave the receiver, the TV followed suit with signal. How is this a problem? Unacceptable.

I have the same problem as everyone else. While I'm playing on my ps4 pro the tv will automatically switch to my nintendo switch input and its annoying as hell. Only work around is to turn off the switch which I do NOT want to have to do. Samsung needs to fix this ASAP it is unacceptable.

Yeah, this is a issue beyond just the switch. Switch just makes this "feature" worse.

Been waiting nearly a year for a fix so don't get your hopes up. Just never buy Samsung products again.

It's quite unbelievable that they haven't given us an acceptable solution yet.  So many have the problem and there's update after update that simply don't address it.  Samsung, please help us out!

Just bought the 65KS8000 and Nintendo Switch ... this random source switching over and over to the turned off Nintendo in the middle of watching TV or Amazon is driving me insane. I can't believe a TV this expensive has never gotten an update to fix this. Tried to look up a "fix" but just found mountains of similar complaints of other devices source switching on their own. You'd think this would be shouted from every review ever done.

GIVE US A FIX, SAMSUNG! Grrrrrrrr!

Just bought a Denon AVR and now have this problem also.

Can't watch TV if my Oppo blue ray is switched on. Have to turn off the Oppo to watch TV.

How rediculous.

Just want to note that I have this same issue with the Nintendo switch. I constantly have to unplug it from the hdmi hub. This is really really annoying and making me miss my old Sony tv. Please issue a fix to disable this feature.

I have the same problem as well so far the only way to deal with it for now until Samsung issues a fix/solution  is to remove the switch from the dock or just shut it down/turn it off completely.
