I reset my tv and now my smart remote won't pair... HELP!

I reset my tv because the wifi wasn't working at all, but now my remote won't pair up with it. What do I do? I tried cutting the power off and turning it back on. I've tried resetting the remote using the play/pause and enter buttons. I've tried re-pairing using the play/pause and return buttons, but NOTHING is working. Is there another solution?
