Netflix not working on Samsung Smart TV

I have HU8550, SEK 3500 set-up. Firmware 1453. Netflix app has been reinstalled. I still get the "cannot play title at this time" message on every title. Netflix works fine on all other devices in my house. Any ideas?

I subscribe to two motorcycle racing web sited; MotoGP.com and WorldSBK.com. I used to be able to watch either live or from their archive. Then only from the archive. Now, not at all. Samsung says it has to do with their browser and an updated HTML used by the sites. Either way, it is the pits. I paid good coin to subscribe. At least I can still watch it on my smaller screen PC.

Stuck at 25% buffering for any Netflix video I click on. Believe me, I've tried everything mentioned here (power off, unplug TV, unplug WIFI, reinstall app, reset Smart Hub, exit Netflix, sign out of Netflix on all devices) and the problem still hasn't been resolved.

 

Help needed.

Holding down the power button on the remote worked for me.... bout 5 seconds.

I am having the same issue with hulu. Its telling me to update the application but theres no offer for an update and the uninstall button is not hightlighted so I can not do the process of uninstall and reinstall. I tried to call but I haven't made contact with a technician. Also not allowing me to sign in to my samsung account because a problem with the server. And top it off theres not feature to use my cellphone as a remote similar to chrome cast.

Hello userWrRGqkYbKS, please provide the full model code and current software version, this can be found by going to Settings>Support>Contact Samsung. Have you tried unplugging the unit for 5 minutes and then trying again? Have you tried a factory reset and then signing back into your Samsung account?

Wow, unbelievable that this issue has not been fixed after such a long time. We went for the more expensive option thinking we would get quality. Netflix has never worked properly, the only thing you can do to get it to work when it hangs at 25% is to hold the power button down and restart. Totally unacceptable. So far I have tried: 

 

- Reset IP address per customer support

- Several resets of smart hub, each taking 15 minutes to sign in to each account and reset everything to factory

- Several full power cycles every day to get Netflix to work properly

 

I'm ready to send this TV back if they can't fix this.
