My Samsung 65" S95C is set to a 16:9 aspect ratio which is not always the best. Most of the time we are using the internal apps to watch movies on Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney, etc. The sound is playing through an external home theater system using the eARC HDMI port. When I attempt to change the aspect ratio, a message comes up saying, "This function is not available".
Hello! Thank you for reaching out! All apps automatically set the aspect ratio depending on the configuration for certain content formats. Since they are not controlled by your TV, you will be unable to change this setting.
