Projectors & Other TVsHello,
I have a Samsung Plasma 2011 Model PN59D6500. The television recently shut down on its own, no red standby light. I unplugged it overnight, when I plugged in the next day television worked fine for about an hour. Then tv shut down and I could see the red standby light slowly flicker out. I can repeat this process and the same thing happens. Would anyone be able to offer advice? Does it sound like the power supply going bad? Maybe overheats and shuts down. Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions.

Projectors & Other TVsThank you very much for responding. I tried the suggestions in the link you sent, however they did not work. The situation has actually worsened. The television now just powers on and off repeatedly every couple of seconds after resetting the TV, by unplugging it for a while or overnight. It used to work for about an hour or a little longer after resetting. I have tried to search this issue. I am not sure what it may be though because there are many suggestions. If you could offer another suggestion I would be grateful. I would like to keep the television if it is feasible. It has a great picture.
Thank you.
Daniel.

Projectors & Other TVsThank you for that information. I recommend letting a service technician take a closer look at the issue, as they may be able to perform more in-depth diagnostics on the TV. As the unit is no longer under warranty, you can use the following link to locate an authorized service center in your area for repairs: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location
