Why do I need both Samsung TV and Samsung TV Plus ?

I have Samsung TV and Samsung TV Plus. Do I need both? Seems they're the same

Are you referring to a Samsung smart TV, Samsung tv plus is a free application that allows you to watch hundreds of channels https://www.samsung.com/us/televisions-home-theater/tvs/tvplus/

They are basically the same, I recommend that you keep the Samsung tv plus application which picks up a lot of channels and programs
