QLED and The Frame TVs

My 2022 Frame has started switching on its own from art mode to TV.

it says I have the current software 1503. Which is not even listed on Samsung’s support site under software updates.

Any ideas? Thank you

Adding another to the list.  55" Frame model QN55LS03BAFXZA.  Just started doing this a few weeks ago - maybe mid-July 2023.  TV is quietly in the peaceful art mode, and then **BAM**!  Samsung TV screaming at us.  I've put it on a smart plug to completely shut it off so it doesn't happen overnight.  But, this is ridiculous.  For such a sophisticated piece of technology, this function is so basic it's like the bare minimum of what should work properly.  This has completely ruined the experience of art mode - which is the ONLY reason we bought this TV.

This is a very frustrating issue!  I am not happy that I have to unplug my TV every night so it doesn't blast me out of bed in the middle of night playing Samsung TV.  Is there a fix on the horizon??  Maybe Samsung should just do an update un-doing the last update.  Loved this TV until this issue came up.

Engaged Samsung support several times on this issue

- Performed all troubleshooting/factory reset with no resolution

- Confirmed downgrading is NOT an option

- Trying to submit a warranty claim for TV replacement (as I consider this a manufacturer defect)

I have received conflicting info from Samsung support.

One technician seemed to confirm this as a "known issue" and promised that a fix would be included in the next firmware update. This was over a month ago and no update on the horizon.

Another technician did not indicate this as a known issue and insisted this was an issue with my equipment

Recent update on this community forum post seem to indicate that Samsung has "noticed" the issue - but are asking users to perform the same basic troubleshooting steps that lead me to think they have simply not "identified" the issue.

Lastly - I was unable to get any details/dates related to a new firmware update of the TV. It might be time to start looking at warranty claim/refunds

I'm in the same boat - TV just turns on randomly several times per day. None of the troubleshooting works!

We have had the Frame 65" for about 3 months. It came with the old software/Firmware and was buggy out of the box. Despite the TV showing it had the latest version, found the new version at Samsung and had to install it ourselves. Have owned Samsung devices for years (many Tv's, smart washer/dryer, microwave, refrigerator and all cellphones. Never had an occasion to contact Samsung support until the Frame. Quickly found that they only know 3 sentences: "We're sorry for the inconvenience", "You need to do a factory reset" and "We'll send a technician out".  All bugs with this TV have been software or cloud related. Every time we solve one bug, usually on our own after no help from Samsung support, a new bug pops up. Like others, the latest are the randomly switching from art mode to TV on its own and the TV just turning on for no reason.  As for the TV turning on by itself, we have checked the logs and they show it's being done via a WoL command from a MAC device (either Mac computer, iPad or iPhone. That is interesting in that we do not own any MAC devices and never have! The TV functions of this set work perfectly, but the art mode is, and always has been a total mess. It seems every time you get rid of one bug, two new ones appear. If this is the best their programmers can do, they need new programmers. After having previously spent literally hours on the phone with their support reps to no avail, we never even bother anymore. Worst Samsung product ever.

Having the same issue. Art mode worked fine until about a month ago when it started turning to TV mode by itself. It seems to happen most frequently around sundown and sunup. However it can be completely random and wakes us up at night. My logs say “Power-on Reason, Sensor”.

If this doesn’t resolve I will be looking into returning this as the only reason we purchased this was for the art mode which we can’t use currently. As of now this is an over priced malfunctioning TV. Hope this gets resolved soon. This is my first Samsung product and, based on this experience, will likely be my last if this continues.

I know I keep saying I'm just turning the stupid thing off. I do. Today I tried to tackle this issue.  Just today mind you, the stupid thing exited Art Mode on its own 10 x. Seriously 10 x. Through no action on my part. Art mode on, next thing I know its back on HDMI 1. Nobody touched anything. I don't even have the samsung app on my phones or iPad. Zero. Yet the thing switches on its own constantly now. So its back to OFF again!
