2022 Frame TV switching automatically from art to tv mode

My 2022 Frame has started switching on its own from art mode to TV.

it says I have the current software 1503. Which is not even listed on Samsung’s support site under software updates.

Any ideas? Thank you

Having the same issue here. 2022 43” frame, purchased in Sept 2023

had to create an account to add myself to this. the new 32 I bought as a gift goes out by itself almost constantly, yet the 43 I had for the past 3 months works just fine.

I also had to create an account to report this issue. 12 pages of complaints and nothing from Samsung. There would be a lot more complaints if it wasn't so laborious to create an account. 

Please push an update with a fix, Samsung.

January 3, 2024. Still going on. Amazing Samsung. You guys failed us on this. I have disabled Samsung TV, Anynet.  I now manually exit Art to watch Apple TV and manually switch back. This has stopped the issue from happening 5 to 10 times on a nearly daily basis. Now it only happens once every few days. Sometimes I get lucky for 5 days before it does it happens. It's not a fixed but it helps.

Also have this problem. Tv randomly starts playing the free built in live tv and I have to manually switch it back to art mode. SAMSUNG PLEASE FIX.

Just a quick silly question: is anyone on this thread convinced that this happens even when the remote controls are disabled or so far away from the TV that any interaction between the remote controls and the TV is impossible? I recall reading somewhere that someone had tried this but I can't seem to find that response.

The remote has no relation to the problem. It is a firmware issue that affects certain component builds of the same models. The last firmware 14xxx did not have this issue. It all started with 15 and up.

Having the same problem with the one I bought in November 2023. Not even 2 months old?

Updates:

• Disabling Night Mode: nope
• Changing motion detection sensitivity: nope
• Ticking/unticking User Positioning Privacy: nope
• Remove other devices from SmartThings: nope
• Remove TV from SmartThings: nope
• Remove SmartThings: nope
• Disconnect all external inputs: nope
• Reset TV and set up again: nope
• Update to 1602: nope

Current status:

• TV still randomly exits art mode and switches to broadcast input (which I don't even use, no antenna, so all it says is "no input." Has been doing this for a year or so.
• TV no longer wakes after sleeping from no motion. This is new, perhaps with 1602.

My conclusion:

• After two years, I think the only sensible takeaway is to not buy any more Samsung products that require software, they just can't do it.
