QLED and The Frame TVsWhile QLED, which is a fancy name for a pretty standard LED display with a quantum dot tech for enhanced color, but it's still edge lit. This kind of looks like a backlight bleed, but it is strange, and definitely shouldn't be this bad if it's new, and on a modern TV. I suspect it might have suffered some kind of external damage, possibly temperature or humidity related, or it might just be a defective panel, which unfortunately happens. If you can still return it, I'd say it's an easier option, vs trying to deal with warranty. Frame TVs are cool, but personally, I'm way past QLED. OLED is nice, but has its own issues. Personally, I'm a fan of their Neo QLED TVs, which use a mini-LED backlight, for perfect black levels and even backlight, I recommend those for sure, if you can still exchange.
