QLED and The Frame TVsHas anyone experienced a similar issue?
At seemingly random, my brand new QN85D will stop displaying anything. Fully black screen. All sounds will stop.
It becomes completely unresponsive to the remote, unplugging it and plugging it back in, anything else I can think of.
It eventually comes back by itself. Could it be overheating or a software issue?

QLED and The Frame TVsIs the TV plugged into a surge protector or the wall outlet directly? I know it seems crazy but when some TVs are plugged into surge protectors, they aren't able to work properly. I was losing my mind trying to figure out whey my TV kept cutting out randomly; when I plugged it into the wall outlet it stopped doing that and worked perfectly! Furthermore, I also suggest checking to make sure there's no damage to the power cord as well as that there's power going to the outlet it is plugged into. You should also check to make sure the TV is updated to the latest firmware/software.
After doing these things and the TV still doesn't work this will require service. You have a couple of options based on your warranty.
- If your unit was recently purchased, you can check with your retailer on their return/exchange processes.
- If you have an extended warranty you can reach out to them to have service set up.
- If you're within the one-year warranty, you can Private message me or one of our moderators with your full model and serial number to have service setup
- If you're OUT of warranty, you can use this link below to find a service center in your area.
