Remote - solid red light. Burning through batteries

Our Frame Tv remote has a constant solid red light. We changed batteries, and it works but realizing it’s burning through the battery life. Any suggestions?

You could also try getting a new remote if there are not to expensive. I don't know though because I have not gone shopping for remotes
