You can actually remove it completely. I was being driven mad by it constantly tuning in to TV Plus on its own when the device booted up. It's simple. Just change your Smart Hub region to one where TV Plus is unavailable. Keep in mind that you will be limited to the app selection for that country. Reset your device to factory via settings, then you go to set up by remote. Get on Wi-Fi, then go to Terms & Conditions and on that screen, press mute, then volume up, then channel up, then press mute again. A list of countries will appear.
