QLED and The Frame TVsThis past week I noticed the right 40% of my 2021 QN32Q60A QLED 4K HDR TV screen darkened. -see image - I bought it about 20 months ago so it was out of warranty. A quick search of the net indicated others have also had this problem. Some suggested 1) pulling off the back and check connectors, 2) dragging a grounding wire around any accessible modules or 3) unplugging the power cord from the TV for a while.
I took these three steps, which seems to have cleared up the problem for the time being.
ā¢ Unplugged the power cord and HDMI connections from the TV for an hour.
ā¢ Changed the Picture Mode to Standard from Dynamic at Settings>Picture>Picture Mode> StandardD
ā¢ Returned the Picture Settings to Factory default at Settings>Picture>Expert Settings>Reset Picture.
If others have suggestions, please add them. If the problem reappears, Iāll update this thread.

QLED and The Frame TVsHey there! I'm glad you were able to find some troubleshooting steps that corrected the issue š In the event it does happen again and the steps you've done don't work anymore, check this link out for different steps and see if they work for you: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01109749/
If these steps don't work, the TV will require service. You can find a local repair center here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/locations/

QLED and The Frame TVsThat brief article may be on to something. When I went to the Samsung TV settings and reset them to factory default, it seemed clear the black screen up. The TV is connected to the broadband modem by Wi-Fi. The only device I have connected to it by HDMI as an Apple TV. That tends to have higher quality color settings and perhaps placed a load on the TV picture modules. Since I connected the Apple TV back I have had perhaps one instance a dap when the screen starts to darken but it clears itself up.
Iāll continue to troubleshoot to refine solutions. Iām a little irritated that the Samsung tech-support people didnāt suggest restoring the picture to factory defaults. As it was, I ordered a new TV for $640 before discovering that solution.

QLED and The Frame TVsThat paragraph probably has validity. I only had an Apple TV connected by HDMI, as the TV is connected to my broadband modem by Wi-Fi. I noticed when I went to the Samsung TV picture settings and reset the factory default it cleared the problem up, but I had also disconnected the Apple TV.
The problem still occurs briefly one time a day, with the Apple TV connected, but seems to clear itself up. I will continue to try to refine a solution.
I wish the Samsung tech support agent had recommended resetting the picture. he did suggest we do an HDMI test and that I disconnect the external devices, neither of which cleared up the black screen. As it was I purchased a new ZQLED TV for $640 before discovering that that Resetting the picture to defaults would clear the problem up.
