QLED and The Frame TVsI have a 2024 43" Samsung "The Frame" model LS03D
When I set it up, I was able to have all my photos display with a "black" matte. (I put black in quotes becuase it is actually a dark grey. I understand that not being able to display pure black mattes is a problem with this TV, but that is NOT why I am posting now)>
Yesterday, all the "black" mattes started displaying as grey color. I tried the following:
- Switching the matte to a different color and then back again.
- Confirming Software is up-to-date
- Going to Settings>Support>Device Care and running Self Diagnosis, which passed OK.
- Powering the display off completely and then turning it back on again.
None of these worked.
I understand that one suggestion is to reset the TV. If I do this, I understand I will need to reupload the photos to the TV from the Smart Things app. But what else will be reset?
I have an Xfinity Remote which I use to watch cable TV. Will the Samsung Reset affect the Xfinity? Will I need to re-choose which HDMI outlet the Xfinity Cable box is plugged in?
What other things should I try?
Or is the TV just garbage and this is a known problem that Samsung is aware of and doesn't care about fixing?
