Switching to roku

Hello --- I just got a new tv --- samsung. I been using a roku ultra for some
time now. When I connected the hdmi cable to the tv -- it figured out that it
was a roku. So now when I switch between the cable box and the roku, roku goes
to (roku) live-tv. On the old tv roku went to "home" how do I get the roku to
go to "home" on the new tv?

I would think that would be a setting within the Roku settings.

yes  that  would be the case but there is no roku  option to set a start screen

I'll have to look, alrhough the settings may be different, as I have an original Roku device with no live TV.
