QLED and The Frame TVs

My Q80T 50" TV has two issues I need help with.:

More often than not, when I first turn the TV on, The Smart Hub and all the annoying guides load, but there is no picture. I have to change the channel in Samsung TV to get a picture. Again, this doesn't happen every time.

Also, blacks and dark scenes show a snowy, speckled picture. This happens in all apps. The example you see below shows what I am experiencing. This has happened since the day I bought the TV. Sometimes it is worse and more obvious than other times. The example below is one of those worse times.

Hello, Bartholomew.

Welcome to the Community! First in regards to your applications popping up at the start, this is normally due to the Smart Hub Auto Run feature. You can disable this feature so that the apps do not pop up or you do not enter the smart hub at start-up. In order to do this, check out one of our existing threads with these steps: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/4K-8K-and-Other-TVs/Stopping-Samsung-TV-from-Auto-Start/td-p/269...

As for the snowy picture symptoms that you are having, when this occurs can you please try to run a picture test to see if the symptoms appear there as well: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/tv-audio-video/how-do-i-run-a-picture-test-self-diagnosis-on-my-t...

I would also recommend that you update the software on your television. You can find the steps on how to do that here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062224/

When you experience the snowy effect, are you utilizing apps that are native to the Samsung television or are you using an external device to stream? (such as Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast, etc.)
