Clock timer wont dismiss from lock screen

The timer function of the Samsung Clock app won't dismiss the alarm from the lock screen. The alarm sounds, and the options of snooze and dismiss show, but don't do anything. I have to unlock the phone to silence the alarm.

The Google clock app has no such issue.

Are you tapping the dismiss button if you are you need to touch the dismiss and slide

Tap/slide is controlled in Settings-Accessibility menu. Should have said that.

Well, that was not actually intuitive. There was no indication to slide it, just a button.

Yeah I know It needed something to say swipe  think how confusing it would be without anyone helping
