The coaching messages on the home page of Samsung Health are not useful.  For example "having trouble meeting your step goal..." is irrelevant because I don't track steps in the app.  I am not always carrying my phone!!  Every day it congratulates me on meeting my calorie goal - annoying!! Please for the love of God provide an option to turn off these messages!

Disable the notifications in settings.

Those are not notifications and cannot be disabled.  They are (supposedly) motivational blurbs and are part of the health app and are very annoying and useless.  People have been asking for them to go away since the first second they were introduced.

It has nothing to do with the notifications. It is baked into the health app. You may have been able to stop other notifications, but not the ones in app. If you are not getting them, it's because it's slowed down somewhat as the complaints increase. Sometimes things happen serendipitously and not because of any overt action.
