I finished paying my phone in installments a while ago and I would like to change companies. As everyone knows, when you buy a phone from a phone company, the phone comes with something like an operating system extension that makes the phone the company's phone and not yours. I would like to know if I can remove that from my phone or if I have to change it

Little confused by the way you put the inquiry but if you own the phone you can port out to another provider just need account number pin and sometimes port out pin depending on carrier but before that you will need to unlock the phone

Samsung Apps and Services@Kilozva If you bought a device from a carrier, it is probably locked to that carrier. Since you have paid it off, your carrier can provide the instructions for carrier unlocking your device.
