For the Samsung Weather app, on the widget.. please add any and all severe weather alerts such as advisories, watches and warnings. If I didn't have 3rd party apps I wouldn't know unless I clicked on the Samsung widget or rely on one of them to tell me.

Think if you opened the weather app and scroll down it does have wind advisory and other alerts there

It already does that. If you turn notification categories on for all apps, you will be able to add "significant weather" as a category for which you would like to receive notifications.  First go to settings/notifications/advanced settings/manage notification categories for all apps and slide it on.  After that, return to the apps list and select the weather app, select the notifications, make sure notifications are allowed, then tap on notification categories and you will see a list that you can enable or disable for which notifications you want.  You can even give the severe weather alert its own alarm sound, to distinguish it from any other notification.

Point being is it doesn't show it on the widget. That was my feature request.

I thought you wanted the alert. I use a different weather app, and I get FEMA notifications (at least for as long as FEMA is operational). My app's widget shows me the current weather and forecast, and Samsung's weather app has 6 different widgets to choose from. If you get a notification, why do you need to look at the widget, and why is it so hard to tap it for the forecast? Besides, you are asking the wrong developers for the feature. The app belongs to and is programmed by The Weather Channel.
