Dear Samsung,

Today I had to scrounge the internet because you decided to hard code that the camera app closes after two minutes of inactivity.

Without a way to change it unless you specifically download Camera Assistant, which is only found on the Samsung app store.

This is bad for you. Bad for us. Bad for everyone. Get rid of the default 2 minute camera app closing. It doesn't help anybody. Who even made this decision? Who did they think it would help?

I'm IRRITATED because in the attempts to get properly set up for a multi-scene camera shoot and having to open my camera is annoying when I've got my fursuit head and paws on. I can't touch the phone screen. The phone can't hear me well because of the fursuit head.

And then I read that someone was holding a 450 degrees CELSIUS torch had to open the camera app back up in the middle of a car repair. They could have been burned, all because someone put something in that you can't, by default, change. And you can't turn off completely.

The fact that Camera Assistant allows you to extend the time to 10 minutes means it's easy for you, Samsung, to fix. Tech is what you DO. Please be smart about it and change this.

I will be on you about this until it gets fixed, or I get a definitive "No."
Tired of problems not being taken care of.

Can I ask why if you know this ability is in Camera Assistant app as to why you won't download it from the Galaxy Store?

This is not the place to address Samsung's developers.  For that you have to open the support tab in the members app and submit feedback.  The developers DO NOT read the forums.
