Google Messages: problems sending/receiving messages to Iphones!

For those that are having problems sending messages to Iphones, if you have RCS chats enabled. You have to toggle on what I have circled in the screenshot otherwise it won't default to SMS/MMS.

 
Open Google Messages, tap on your profile picture, go to Messages settings, RCS Chats, scroll down to the toggle I have pictured. Done!
You will now be able to text with those that use iPhones.

Open your app drawer, type in Google Messages, open Google messages, younwill be promoted to set as default , tap yes, then it show both apps tap on the solid blue bubble.

Google Messages will now be your default.

Ps. If Google Messages isn't already on your phone, go to the Playstore and download

That would have been nice to have been notified when the update went out. I like many others had to figure it out on my own after multiple people with iPhones missing messages.

Unlucky for some, mine auto switched for me when we got our s24. Had a popup come up and explain and told me we will now be auto switching for you, and I had to hit the OK button.
