Hello to all.

I just started to use Samsung Music app.

My phone is galaxy S22 ultra.

I donwload my audio files from OneDrive to Samsung Music. I would like to edit the tracks' name, artisits' name and albums' name.

I searched online and tried to follow the methos, but it seems I cant make it work. When I clicked the Track Detail, I can"t find the EDIT on the top.

Can you help me fix this problem one step by one step? Thank you in advanced.

@Juju G Welcome to the Samsung Member's Community. Thank you for your question about editing the Track Meta Data using Samsung Music.

1. Edit the Meta Data of any Track while viewing "Tracks"
2. I tried Editing the Metadata under "Albums" But the "Edit Icon" wouldn't show as you mentioned
3. On the "Tracks" Tab Tap on "Track Details"
4. At the Top Right Hand Corner of the Window You will see the "Edit Icon"

Then you can edit the Meta Data for the Selected Track. (Please see the Attached Screenshots)

 Hi xMatriXx,

Thank you so much for your quick reply and help, I really appreciate that.

The screenshots above is what I can see. On the right up Conner, the EDIT icon is not showed at my end.

Any ideas? Thank you 😊

Hello again! I found that I can replicate what you too have found.

I also wanted to mention that Samsung Music isn't actually changing the Metadata of your files.

I did find a solution that will work for you. I've personally used it myself. It is good!

Go to Google Play Store:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fillobotto.mp3tagger

This will allow you to update the Tags Metadata Information for your Music Files.

**'Using Samsung Music to Edit Metadata of your Music Files. Will only show up in Samsung Music if you don't use the alternate method I suggested.***

Please feel free to post your questions or otherwise. Thank you!

Thank you again.

I would like to listen to my audio files from Onedrive with Samsung Music app.

After I download to Samusng Music, it shows the title of the audio files as I have in Onedrive, that is ok.

My issue is, I would like to well orgainize all audio files download from Onedrive to Samsung Music with clearn folder name, artist name, etc.

That is why I need to see that EDIT icon showed on the right up conner, then i can edit something there.

Can you show me how to make the EDIT icon showed up at the right up conner?

Thank you in advance again 🙂

Thank you for your reply. Juju all the data can be populated using the Application I. Mentioned. Album Art, Track Names, Artists, Albums. Etc.

Once you've cleaned up your library. Upload back to your ONE Drive Account.

It also has Automatic Batch Processing in the Paid Version too! If you would rather just use Samsung Music. I will have to continue to research to find you a solution for that.

Kindly let me know so I can continue to assist you. I appreciate your question. Thank you for using the Samsung Member's Community. Thank you!

Thank you again 🙂

When you are available, can you help me find out the reason why at my edit, after tapping the TRACK DETAIL, why the EDIT icon doesnt show up.

I just want to know the reason, do i need to delete the app and download again or something wrong with my phone 🙂

Thank you.
