Is Samsung financing being discontinued?

I received an email, saying that TD Bank and Samsung are ending their partnership. Did anyone else receive this email. I called to confirm this with TD Bank cs. They will be closing my and other user accounts. I'm upset I have 6 yrs of credit history being erased

I received the email and the letter just today. Yes, they are discontinuing their partnership. And I agree with you. My years of credit history will be erased. Will this have a negative impact on my credit? I used to love samsung but as of late, I've been having so many issues with them. I'm thinking of going to a different eco system. Maybe Google. Idk, I've been a samsung user for years and never wanted to switch. But this is just outright dumb

I tried placing an order yesterday for a TV because I received a letter informing me that as of the end of December they will no longer be providing the financing. I thought I would get a TV before it's no longer an option. I clicked Samsung financing multiple times, but it just kept taking me back to the main order page. I did a chat, and she was clueless as to what was going on. Even though the option is still there, I don't think we're able to take advantage of Samsung financing anymore.

i got a letter today. it says I have till the end of december to buy anything i want. After December it will be closed 😕

I got the letter from TD bank and did what you did but was not able to purchase and no other financing option(s) was Provided. I hate to lose the credit history with them and I love Samsung phones, that's all I use. I do hope they partner with another company. One another note I received the same notice from Dell but I have been able to place orders before they close the accounts and/or change financing company. Happy holidays, everyone.

I was given the option to use Affirm, but unfortunately, you get a small ding on your credit score because if you choose to accept it, they do a hard credit check. I ended up purchasing a TV off Amazon using Chase pay over time. I am charged a finance charge, unfortunately, but at least I know I'll have it paid off after a couple years.

I got a letter today saying the are dropping it 12.31.24. You can continue to pay off what you have as normal but the account will. Have heard that they will be using AFFIRM but I have not been able to confirm. Affirm is good and super easy to deal with compared to TD but I don't really like that I will lose $10,000 worth of available  credit overnight it dings your credit no matter what the circumstances are.
