Samsung Apps and ServicesI received an email, saying that TD Bank and Samsung are ending their partnership. Did anyone else receive this email. I called to confirm this with TD Bank cs. They will be closing my and other user accounts. I'm upset I have 6 yrs of credit history being erased

Samsung Apps and ServicesYes, they don't understand that this affects the consumers credit. All I got was you can reach out to credit report company to find out if your score will be affected. I'm like YES IT WILL, an account will be closed, so that open line of credit will diminish. Also now that it is with Affirm, we now have to pay interest on those purchases. I am going to miss not having to pay interest on my devices. I always paid them off before time. Now regardless you will pay interest with Affirm, unless you pay within a couple weeks.
Samsung has yet to update the checkout process by removing the Samsung Financing option also.

Samsung Apps and ServicesI am having the same problem. TD/Samsung credit line closed yesterday - never late with $188 balance. Experian showed they closed the account, however if you go to TD, you can still sign in and your balance is still there to be paid. I am going to pay my balance on the TD site in February on time, as I don't want to risk getting a 30 day past due ding on my credit report. TD can just as easily re-open the account and put a late ding on there. Don't want to chance it.

Samsung Apps and ServicesDoes anyone understand what just happened???? I got the letter. But I just checked my credit file today. When TD Bank ended the partnership with Samsung, it affected our credit. Check your score because mine Dropped!!!…Saying creditor closed the account! I don’t see how this is fair to people who kept the account in good standing!! This doesn’t look right to other potential creditor when I want to use my credit smh. It looks like I done something wrong , even though I have 100% paid on time for my payments. What recourse do we have? I’m going to attempt to write an entry explaining what happened and have it placed on my file. I have never heard of this happening before that they close your account through no fault of your own and make YOUR credit suffer because of it! Thanks TD Bank and Samsung !
