One App for calling and voicemail please.

Can we please have one app for calling and voicemail? 

Or am I missing a bigger picture here as to why we have two separate apps?

Voicemail is part of the phone dialer feature unless you mean visual voicemail

Ok, I see what's happening. It is the visual voicemail app that's separate. Thank you.

Still though can this feature not be merged into the phone app with a new tab for voicemail?

As far as I know or recall the visual voicemail has always been separate app

Calling and voicemail are combined under one app. Visual voicemail is a separate app altogether.

My last phone was a Motorola phone and it was built into Google dialer not a separate app. I switched to the S24 and I was surprised to find a separate app. I even downloaded Google dialer app thinking I could get voicemail and phone dialer all in one but that is not the case with Samsung. Google dialer has visual voicemail but using that dialer on a Samsung phone does not allow me to turn on visual voicemail. I can still hold down the 1 button t get to voicemail but I don't have the voicemail tab like I had on the Motorola phone.
